Only 105,748 of 159,526 Registered EOBI Employers Were Active in 2026
Pakistan had 159,526 employers registered with EOBI as of February 28, 2026, but only 105,748 were listed as active, according to the Pakistan Economic Survey 2025–26.
What does “active employer” mean?
An active employer is generally an establishment currently participating in the EOBI system and maintaining relevant registration or contribution activity. The official summary shows a sizeable difference between total registered establishments and active employers.
