EOBI Expands Complaint Management and Help Desks for Pensioners and Employers
EOBI is expanding its complaint and facilitation system by linking its Complaint Management System with government grievance channels and operating help desks in major cities.
In January 2026, the federal minister responsible for overseas Pakistanis and human resource development said EOBI’s complaint system was being integrated with the Prime Minister’s Portal, the Wafaqi Mohtasib and other relevant departments.
Where are EOBI help desks available?
Help desks were reported as established in:
- Islamabad
- Lahore
- Karachi
These facilities are intended to assist employers, employees and pensioners with EOBI-related matters.
Why is complaint integration important?
Pension and contribution complaints can involve multiple offices and lengthy follow-up. Connecting EOBI’s own complaint system with broader government grievance channels can make escalation and monitoring easier.
For contact details, see our EOBI helpline numbers and support guide.
What types of issues can pensioners raise?
Depending on the case, complaints may involve pension delays, contribution records, registration problems, employer compliance, claim processing or verification.
Workers should keep their CNIC, EOBI registration details, claim number and copies of previous correspondence when submitting a complaint.
What is EOBI’s recent complaint-handling record?
A parliamentary briefing covering July 2024 to June 2025 stated that EOBI received 511 complaints through the Pakistan Citizen Portal and reported that all were resolved during that period.
The same briefing said EOBI received 37,012 pension claims and settled 36,612, representing a reported settlement rate of approximately 99%.
What if your EOBI record is incorrect?
Before filing a complaint, workers should verify what information appears in their EOBI record. Our EOBI registration check guide explains the basic verification process.
If the problem concerns a pension application itself, review our EOBI pension claim guide.
Why employers should also pay attention
The government has also emphasised dialogue and facilitation before recovery action in some employer cases. Employers should maintain accurate employee records and respond promptly to EOBI notices rather than waiting for a dispute to escalate.
Final words
The integration of complaint channels and establishment of help desks are positive service-delivery steps. Their value will ultimately depend on how quickly individual cases are resolved and whether workers can easily track their complaints.
